YOGHHAIR® Raw Honey Solid Shampoo is a nourishing, pH-balanced formula specially developed for dry, brittle and breakage-prone hair. Enriched with 7% raw honey, it gently but effectively removes buildup and excess sebum without stripping the hair of its natural oils or disrupting its hydrolipid balance.

Raw honey acts as a natural humectant, helping hair retain moisture while supporting softness, elasticity and a smoother feel. The shampoo’s pH 5.0 formula helps keep the cuticle smooth during washing, reducing friction, frizz and the risk of breakage.

  • A shampoo is specifically formulated to cleanse the hair without leaving residue, whereas soap, even when misleadingly labelled as “shampoo,” is technically not a shampoo.

    Washing your hair with soap—even a high-quality one—can have undesirable effects because soap is alkaline, with a high pH (typically 8–11), which is outside the ideal pH range for the hair and scalp (around 5–6). This can increase the hair’s electrical charge, leading to static, frizz and breakage.

    Alkaline products can also cause the hair cuticle—the outer layer of the hair shaft—to lift, making the hair more prone to damage and difficult to restore, even with intensive conditioners.

    In addition, washing hair with soap can leave deposits of insoluble calcium and magnesium salts on the hair shaft, making the hair feel lifeless, dull, stiff and dry.

  • The pH level of YOGHHAIR® shampoos ranges between 5.0 and 5.5, thanks to the natural pH balancing of the formulas. This mildly acidic range is close to the natural pH of the hair and scalp and helps keep hair smooth, soft and manageable.
